All you need to know about Boxercise

Boxercise is an exercise concept based on the training methods used by boxers.

Sessions usually involve hitting focus pads, but no class involves hitting an opponent. It is a funchallenging and safe workout which is great for stress busting, accessible to all ages and fitness levels.

Boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training, as it combines both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems, incorporating both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres. This ensures a diverse workout session, and improves hand-eye co-ordinationtiming, and balance.

Boxercise classes are always funaddictive, and energetic!

How are Boxercise classes structured?

Each class varies to keep it interesting for you, but typically we go through some circuits, boxing coaching, and some pad work.

We will often incorporate some skipping, shuttle runs, and press-ups to get your heart rate up and burn some serious calories!

Is Boxercise good for losing weight?


Boxercise is a great fat-burning fitness class which is designed to work the whole body and get your heart pumping. By upping your cardio game, you increase your body’s stamina, allowing you to push yourself for longer. The harder you work, the more fat you’ll burn.

The intensive and rigorous pad work exercises in our Boxercise classes, combined with repetitive striking and punching techniques will strengthen your cardio fitness.
